总结:The acceptance or rejection of innovation and technology transfer of any form often depends very much on the subjective judgement of the decision maker and the people involved. Without a positive motivator, alternatively designated as "linker" or "gatekeeper", the completion of the transfer process by actual utilization is notably diminished. The technology linker is essentially the individual or group of individuals who does exactly what the term implies - they link the source and the application. The human is an important element in technology transfer. The linker can be associated with the source, with the user, could be somewhere in between, or linkers could be at both ends of the process chain.
