description Real estate has been a 'hot' issue in Singapore for the last decade. The escalating prices have made real estate a lucrative business. This study examined the current provision of information services to the real estate industry in Singapore, putting into focus the adequacy of such provision. It covers both the traditional paper services and electronic services. In addition, the study also looked at the use of and reliance on electronic information services by the real estate practitioners in their daily work. The feedback from the real estate practitioners on the existing level of services and their expectations provide an indication of the future direction and development of electronic information services for the real estate industry in Singapore.
