The impact on the transaction costs due to the decimalization of the NYSE.
Decimalization of the NYSE has indeed caused a surge in research and studies on the trade transaction/execution costs and market quality for the trading exchange. This study assesses the trade transaction costs for NYSE-listed common stocks before and after the 2001 decimal conversion.
