description The purpose of this project is to develop a PC based simulation program to evaluate the probability of error performance of a 90Mb/s, 64 QAM (Quadrature Amplitude modulation) microwave radio system in a multipath fading environment. The method used in this simulation program is known as Quasi-analytical (QA) estimation. This method combines both simulation and analysis. The main advantage this method has over the Monte Carlo method, which is more often used in such simulations, is that it requires significantly less computational time.
