description Power electronic technology is very popular and useful in modern electrical engineering. Especially, dc/ac conversion and ac/dc conversion are widely utilized in industrial application. With the development of many kinds of renewable energy such as wind energy, solar energy and bio-fuel energy, power electronic technique becomes more and more important for applying in these areas. As the voltage and current from some renewable energy are unstable, many efficient circuits solving this problem are created, dc/ac/dc converters are one of them. A dc/ac/dc converter can convert the unstable dc voltage, which is produced from solar energy or fuel cell, to stable and useable dc voltage. Pulse-Width Modulation is involved in this report. For the circuit, PWM controller is mainly used in single-phase full bridge dc/ac inverter. The diodes in the ac/dc rectifier are uncontrolled. High frequency transformer is the other important component in the dc/ac/dc converter, it can boost the transferred voltage and then make it satisfy the requirement. The other function is isolation the power between the primary and secondary side. All of the simulation is done with the aid of PSIM software.
