the command centre of the human body and is responsible for functions such as
breathing, regulating the body temperature thinking, learning and almost any other
activity quintessential to a person’s survival.
The presence of electrical current was first discovered by Richard Caton, an
English physician in 1875. This discovery laid the groundwork for Hans Berger, a
German scientist in 1924 to record electrical activity of the brain, also known as
Electroencephalography. Till date, research have been carried out to understand
more about the intricacies associated with brain.
The aim of this project is to design an experiment to analyze brain signals based
on different mental states – concentration and relaxation and to determine the
location of dipoles from the data collected. |
