Description
Summary:With the development of economy and technology, the use of global energy is growing. People are driven to seek the renewable energy such as sunlight, wind, tides and geothermal heat due to the rapid depletion of limited and non-renewable energy resources on our planet. Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have attracted more and more attention compared to conventional solid-state photovoltaic devices owing to their low cost, simple process of manufacture and relatively high photo-to-current conversion efficiency. In this thesis, we focus on the enhancing the conversion efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) by optimizing the photoanode and dye.
