description The mobile phone in today’s context has evolved into a generation of smart phones that are capable of processing large amount of data and information. Most of them are equipped with communication equipments like Bluetooth, Infrared and Wi-Fi. With the rising popularity of social networks sites like Facebook and Twitter, it has created a need for mobile social network. In this project, software that will simulate the efficient data delivery and exchange in mobile social network will be developed. The software provides the mean for efficient data exchange in mobile social network. Efficiency and the performance of data exchange will be measured. The performance will be measured with two main criteria, end to end data transfer speed and peer discovery time. The results collected from both of the measurements will be analyse and discuss.
