description Current study attempted to validate the Picture Story Exercise (PSE) usage in Singapore. Three main concerns involved the applicability of the PSE, the reliability of online PSE administration and the generalizability of the PSE. Two student samples (study 1 and 2) and a sample of working adults (study 3) in Singapore were conducted. Picture motive profiles, gender differences, administration condition (lab and online), test-retest reliability and sample differences (students and working adults) were examined. Findings from study 1 and 2 were comparable with previous research (Pang & Schultheiss, 2005; Schultheiss & Brunstein, 2001) suggesting substantial evidence for PSE usage for student samples. Results from study 3 are preliminary. Overall, our findings suggest potential for future online PSE administration in Singapore.
