description As the energy and environmental problems become increasingly prominent, the distributed generation (DG) is undergoing a significant development all around the world. However, a large number of accessing to the tradition power grid by DG brought a lot of negative effects and the development of DG is also restricted. Microgrid is the most effective way to make use of DG. As a frontier area of research, considering the complexity and limitation of establishing the Microgrid experimental system, the dynamic simulation model of Microgrid was established in software generally. The simulation model was used for research of DG grid-connected control,Microgrid operation control and also the issues of Smart Grid. In MATLAB/SIMULINK, three control models (PQ control, V/f control, droop control) were constructed and applied in different operation strategies, it made preliminary exploration and preparation to establish Microgrid operation control simulation platform. Through the simulation and analysis, the accuracy and validity of design were verified. It also provided an effective way to research Microgrid operation control system.
