description | There has been a great consolidation of design knowledge for tubular hollow section for years. In particular welded joint connections, there is already a widespread of resistance formulae into international codes, standards, and specifications. These resistance formulae, which are supported by large quantity of research, have greatly simplified design procedure for designers. However, when the work load is huge, repetitive manual calculation may still induce errors and result in time consuming. To go along with the era of efficiency, development of a design program which replaces the manual calculation and provides features that can enhance the effectiveness of design time and quality will be appreciated. |
