Apart from perfect lens issue, many applications had been proposed such as the unusual narrow band transmission in multi stack structures, backward waveguiding, photon tunneling enhancement. However, the perfect lens seems to be the most promising potential application for several experimentalists had already verified the subdiffraction resolution in the perfect lens.
