In this technological world, various methods for detection of ethanol are presented. Among them, detection from exhaled breath is more popular than the others because of its properties such as painless, noninvasive and relatively low cost. By means of breath analyzer device, breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) can be detected which can be converted into blood alcohol concentration (BAC). In order to provide background information of different strategies, various analytical methods which are commonly used for detection of ethanol are discussed with particular attention to chemical detection method Master of Science (Biomedical Engineering) 2011-12-27T06:24:44Z 2011-12-27T06:24:44Z 2009 2009 Thesis http://hdl.handle.net/10356/47109 Nanyang Technological University application/pdf
