description Sequence of events occurs in our daily life; regardless it is the simple press of elevator button or the arrival of customers in a shop. Discrete-Event System (DES) is used to simulate such sequence of events. Throughout the years, many researchers have come out with algorithms in their own formats, creating a community that is not unified, and thus, hinder the research progress. By creating a web portal to unite the dispersed community together, a standardized format for the research can be adopted. The portal will allow discussion among researchers for software based on same theory, promoting rapid progress in their research. With the community brought together by the web portal, we can expect more technologies to benefit from the accelerated DES research.
