| Summary: | For the past few years, environmental issue especially global warming is becoming a very concern topic on international level, this is due to the consistent apprehension and trepidation that the ozone layer may deplete even more causing extreme condition that is unbearable to all living things – including human.
Media social network such as Facebook and Twitter have became part and parcel of everyone life, therefore it is a very powerful and influential platforms to share knowledge and information among users. Twitter is chosen as the platform for this project as I personally feel that even though Facebook has more users; most of the users are actually using Facebook for its game applications.
With the constant fear and worries regarding our environment, this project will be focusing on the analyses of the contents in Twitter to figure out what type of environmental information are being posted and share and also to figure out how influential a user can be based on factors such as popularity, friends and elapsed time of posts.
