description | The aim of this project is to study the properties of saturated and unsaturated recycled materials. For this study, two types of recycled were used, the recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) and the recycled asphalt pavement (RAP). By having the knowledge of the properties of these recycled materials, it can then be decided whether these materials can be used to substitute for natural aggregates. The use of these recyclable materials will contribute in creating a sustainable construction, promoting resource-efficient building designs and sustainability in other related developments, such as in backfilling, drainage, and other usages. |
