Description
Summary:This report serves to inform and facilitate the reader in the results and conclusions obtained from the experiments done by the author and his partner on the usability and practicality on using ISK-Singapore’s industrial sludge as a non-structural construction material. The industrial sludge is primarily composed of titanium dioxide and was mixed with cement. Various compositions of sludge and cement mixture was then acted as replacement of sand in grade 30 concrete. Leaching tests were also conducted on the mixture to ascertain that it is within the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) guidelines and environmentally safe to use as a non-structural construction material.
