| Summary: | This project is to study one of the major road safety problems in Singapore - drink-driving, and to determine the tendency of alcohol-related traffic accidents and those factors that affect the accidents, as well as to study the remedial measures taken against it in Singapore.Basically, data collected from Singapore Police Force (SPF) are for the examinations of the tendencies of traffic accidents and drink-driving cases from 2001 – 2010. Furthermore, detailed information of change in local drink-driving legislation over the years and basic information on the measurements are obtained as well. Last but not the least, the campaigns on drink-driving and the slogans used are also examined. |
