Summary: | This project is to design and build a seven element anti jamming antenna which can provide 2 null signals in the direction of the jammer signal. The project was to be completed through two phases where the first phase was based on software design and second phase was based on hardware testing.
The Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) version 11.0 was chosen to be the design and simulation software used in this project. Antenna design was constructed and simulation was performed to verify the result. In the hardware phase, fabrications of the antenna were to be done and testing was to be conducted in the NTU communication laboratory using Agilent vector network analyzer test equipment. The main objective is to verify that result simulated in the software design is consistent with the result measured from the fabricated antenna.
However due to time limitation, hardware fabrication was not perform but it will not have any impact on the result as the testing of hardware only serve to further confirmed the result simulated via software. |
