description | Advances in medical device technology have improved efficiency and convenience for both patients and healthcare providers. The use of wireless device in the medical field has a great potential to encounter more comfort and better service to patients (e.g. cardiac stress testing). In addition, one may see increased safety by removing a possible danger and point-of-failure (i.e. the wires) as well as the reduction of cable complexity and cost. Implementing medical device with wireless technology requires that the information need to be effectively transmitted from the collection device to the recording device in different scenarios of medical environment. |
