Description
Summary:Interactive media is the integration of digital media including combinations of electronic text, graphics, moving images, and sound, into a structured digital computerized environment that allows people to interact with data for appropriate purpose. [1] This final year project is to design an interactive wall that combines music and graffiti together. The concern of the project is that, with an appropriate mapping with a series of dull sounds produced in our living environment, the interactive wall can create fanciful graffiti and unique music. In this report, the inputs are series of walking people footage live videos from a camera, and after blob detection, the coordinates and the pixels of the walking people are derived. According to different values of coordinates and pixels, a mapping system has been developed to choose the size of the strokes and the trace of the graffiti. C++ was used for image processing to track the walking people, and OpenGL and texture mapping were used to create graffiti.
