| Summary: | The aim of the project was to create a new mythology taking inspiration from varied elements in South East Asian folklore and write a screenplay based on that with half the story taking place in that mythology and half in modern times.
The challenge was in transposing the character across time while retaining the mythological aspect. This required that the respective portions of the story told very different types of myths, the structure of the screenplay revolved around these different forms of myth emerging from their context. |
