Magneto-rheological fluid rotary brake used in wheeled vehicles
This work focuses on modeling of MR fluids in different flows especially in shear mode. Mathematical models for MR fluid flow for different geometries are developed with emphasis on the MR rotary brakes. Finally a test rig is designed to test the behavior of MR rotary brakes.
