Summary:In the fast and diversified world, education system is one of the priority concerns for our next generation. High quality standards of education have always been one of the top priorities in Singapore. In the current education system context, as most Singaporean believes that by doing more assessment books, it will help the education trainer to assess the knowledge level of each individual student with respect to the subjects that they have covered. However with the fast forward and unlimited knowledge that one could have shared with others, knowledge is constantly enhanced without notice. Based on the fixed assessment book is never enough to give our next generation the fun, thrilling, detailed and fulfilling knowledge except for the online assessment with the constant update of knowledge to share with the student. Looking in the next generation of education system, the system will rely on the online assessment to assess the ability of generating questions randomly, instead of having a fixed number of questions fed into the database. With the help of generating questions randomly, this system will offer an unlimited of questions and prevent repetition of question. The goal of this Final Year Project will be to provide an online assessment system which has the ability of generating the question, answer and grade the student’s final answer. The developer must take account that the system developed should have the flexibility of generation question and enhance user learning ability. The Primary 4 system was developed using Java, JSP, SQL, and HTML with the following platform, Tomcat Server, Eclipse, Mysql Workbench.
