Summary:This report summarizes the findings of this Project, which intention is to induce leg motions of the target specimen by stimulating it with predetermined signals generated and transmitted through implanted electrodes. Apart from a brief overview of the existing knowledge on insect anatomy with particular focus on the muscle configuration of its flight and terrestrial locomotion muscle system, the report also concludes with possible directions which future researches may embark on to achieve the final objective of creating a fully functional Cyborg Beetle.
