Development of vibration modeling, testing and control techniques for hard disk drives
With rapid advances in hard disk drive (HDD) technology towards ultra high density and small form factor, mechanical problems such as the residual vibration become increasingly critical and may hinder further development of future HDDs in terms of data access speed and positioning accuracy.
