description This report would provide a tutorial introduction to Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) remote sensing technique. Basic principles and applications are summarized firstly to give a fundamental understanding to the InSAR. After this brief introduction, the reports will emphasize on two parts: the major processing steps required to generate the InSAR images and Digital Elevation Model (DEM); and the 3D visualization of InSAR images. In the first part, InSAR image processing steps and respective associated logics will be explained in details, which would provide a standard guidance for further research on the InSAR. In the second part, a series of MATLAB toolboxes providing 3D visualization and various functions will be introduced. Meanwhile, the imaging results will be listed and emphasized. In summary, an overall understanding to InSAR techniques and relevant knowledge will be presented in this report.
