description The goal of this project is to design and implement a web based application to facilitate the retrieval of relevant surveillance videos from the video database based on the analyzed video information. The analyzed video information, such as the time of capture, the human trajectory in terms of entry point and exit points are assumed available in the database through video analysis, but video analysis is beyond the scope of this project. To showcase the project, the analyzed data used is from manual analysis of selected video sequences work. An Android application is also to be developed for enlarging the user group. In order to make this web application work on Android tablets, additional work is done to make the web application cross-platform usable.
