| Achoimre: | The objective of this project was to design a sight mount which formed the interface between a sight and a rifle. The mount was assembled to test for its functionality. The sight mount selected for this design was based on a customer's requirements. The main features of this sight mount design were quick release mechanism, light weight, ease of use, ability to achieve bore sight retention of the sight with reference to the rifle, and ability to compensate for size variation in the rifle mount interface.
