The aim of this research project is to provide an insight into the banks' roles in their reporting of corporate social responsibility activities. The subject of social responsibility is still relatively new here in Singapore but the results of the research show that banks are showing increasing interests and concern for the environment as well as improvements to their employee's welfare by engaging in a whole range of training programmes and facilities. In addition, some banks are actively involved in various community activities which are tied in to national campaigns, like fund raising events.
