Cheng Tung Sheun Sebastian, Lauw Wann Ching, Ng Pin Pin Regina Leong Choon Chiang Nanyang Business School DRNTU::Business::Marketing::Consumer behavior 166 p. This project marks a collective effort in an attempt to study the budgetary practices among the hotels in Singapore. The 7 hotels chosen for this case study provide a stimulating discovery of the dynamics of this tedious ordeal that every hotel has to go through. Since no research has ever been conducted in this field in the Singapore context, this project is hoped to benefit interested readers as much as it did us. In particular, readers will be brought to travel right from the preparation of budget schedule, to the details of determining good operating budgets. Also, the importance of technology and organisational behaviour in hotel budgeting is fairly presented as well.
