Various time frequency techniques will be studied and applied for parameter extraction. Frequency versus Time techniques and implementation of these techniques with Matlab software will be studied in this project. With the time-frequency domain representation, some useful parameters will be extracted. Performance for sounds from different string instrument will be compared. An interface for user manipulation the input/output data and processing environment setting will be implemented.
