description Mathematics is an important subject that can be applied to many different fields of our daily life. In Mathematics course, students usually tackled the subject through textbooks, past year papers, and assessment books. However, with the rapid growth of the Internet and mobile devices, Web-based education has become a ubiquitous learning platform in many schools to provide student materials through freely accessible educational websites. The objective of this project is to tackle the two problems faced in an online assessment system for Additional Mathematic subject: Past Year Papers Analysis and Online Test Paper Generation. The objective of Past Year Papers Analysis is to provide the evaluation for past year papers including topics distribution and the difficulty level without much hassle of going through the painful process of manual analysis. It also let users know about the trend of difficulty level by analyzing many past year papers in the last ten years. The major function of this project, Online Test Paper Generation, is a challenging task as it is a multi-objective optimization problem that is NP-hard, and it is also required to satisfy the online generation requirement. We propose an efficient memory-based multi-objective optimization approach for Online Test Paper Generation. The proposed approach is based on the constraint-based Divide and Conquer (DAC) technique for constraint decomposition and multi-objective optimization. As such, students can better make use of their time by self-practicing efficiently with this system to improve their mathematics knowledge.
