description Trees are important in our ecosystem and they do eventually die due to many causes. However, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing that they die, as being dead trees they play an important role as well in our ecosystem. The fate of whether these dead trees stay or not isn’t for them to decide themselves, as some fall to the axe for a variety of practical reasons. This work questions the fate of these trees, whether they deserve to die to the axe or continue to play multiple roles in the ecological system, which includes beautifying the landscape even if there are no leaves.
