Description
Summary:Education is heavily emphasized in Singapore. As such, students are pressured to do well for their examinations and require sufficient practices to train their understanding of the subject. Students normally rely on the assessment books for practices which are mostly available in hard copy. Since most assessment books are in hard copy, the questions are limited as it does not provide the capability to be flexible in changing question dynamically. To overcome the limitations, online assessments are developed. Moreover, students in the new generation are more engaged with technology and this motivates educators to integrate education with technology. Though there are available online assessments, they still lack in some areas in terms of flexibility and expand ability especially for Mathematical questions. This project is developed based on the limitations found in the available current system and to improve on them. The project focuses on Primary 4 Mathematics and aims to generate different kinds of questions randomly according to the chosen topic and type. It also aims to mark student’s answer to point out the mistakes made.
