Comparative study of Eurocode 7 design and load and resistance factor design in geotechnical engineering (shallow foundation)

Civil engineering industry in Singapore is moving towards the application of Eurocodes for structural and geotechnical designs. Along with this substitution, all engineers in practice are required to interpret the procedures and design principles used in Eurocode and be used to the assumptions made.
