description An alternative Android phone based car control application will be designed to provide a secondary priority control of the car. The focus of this report will be exploring the feasibility of the Android phone based car control system. It was decided that the prototype would be a battery-operated RC Car. Command Centre Controller, Remote Control Server, Acoustic Source Localization and Android Application software modules will be created using various programming language such as Java, PHP and Python and Hardwares such as the Raspberry Pi, along with the RC Car and the GPIO pin are necessary to process the information from the Android mobile application. These programming languages are crucial to the various phases of the project to achieve the full solution. Upon completion of the Android phone based car control system, the performance of this system will be assessed with a series of experiments.
