description Ensuring thermal comfort is an important problem in any buildings. The predicted mean vote (PMV) model was widely used in assessing the thermal comfort. The thermal comfort was predicted based on a group of people. This model uses human dependent variables and thermal environment variables. Furthermore, other models were looked into and the thermal comfort for other countries were also examined. In this project, two models will be used to analyse thermal comfort, namely PMV model and PMVSET model. The PMVSET model was proposed for hot-humid climate environment. Data that were needed for this project was collected by the use of sensors. The numerical values for thermal comfort will be computed using MATLAB software. A comparison will be made based on these two models.
