Development of spinal stabilization device using rapid prototyping and rapid tooling techniques
This research examines the feasibility of applying Rapid Prototyping (RP) fabrication methods, in particular Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), and Rapid Tooling (RT) techniques (Silicone Rubber Tooling) in the fabrication of polymer/ceramic cages for application as spinal stabilization devices.
