Description
Summary:This report would provide the relevant and common methods adopted by structural and design engineers, to bring forth the structures we witness and utilize in our daily lives. A brief introductory of the reliability analyses methods developed by the previous generation of structural engineers, alongside with adequately detailed information of the current era’s deterministic probabilistic and semi-probabilistic methods would be discussed in this report. Conclusively, a few concerns in the study of the design reliability of structures would be addressed. This would provide readers a deeper understanding of the methods and different uses of the reliability principles in the field and develop a sense of appreciation of these methods.
