As an open-source content management system(CMS), Joomla! provides great convenience and flexibility to the web developers makes the creation of webpages become more and more easy. The aim of this project is to build up a live information dissemination system for online education. With the application of Joomla!, a live online education system has been built up. The system allows user to study, search, test online in a timely fashion, and also allow users to submit feedbacks. In this report, the concept of CMS and a series of web technologies will be introduced. And the implement of a dynamic, CMS based, administrator friendly website will be briefly described as well. A series of web technologies have been studied and assessed, which are then applied to make the system efficient, stable, and generic. |
