| Summary: | In the tourism industry sector, travelers tend to face difficulties communicating with locals from another foreign country due to the lack of prior knowledge of their native language. Therefore, in order to reduce the difficulties in communicating, the author came out with a Translator App to help overcome this issue by leveraging on the mobile phone technology platform. With technology rapidly advancing, the majority of the individuals across the world uses either an iPhone or an Android Phone. It will be convenient for each individual to have a Translator App installed in their mobile phones, as the application can be accessible anywhere with a 4G network. The objectives of this Translation App with multiple languages and functions like Text-To-Speech, Speech-To-Text and Speech-To-Speech functions is to provide tourist with a platform in which they can communicate whenever they face difficulty in understanding a foreign language. Eclipse and Android SDK tools were used to produce this Translation App.
