Summary:The successful in smartphone technology results in the increase number of users whom depend on the use of smartphones. The population of user who owns a smartphone is growing as the demand of smartphones is increasing due to its affordable cost. Moreover, smartphone devices are used for communication purposes which enables people to stay connected with one another through social media platforms. With the presence of a palm-sized device, retrieving information or accomplish a task can be done conveniently compared to handling tasks manually. Likewise, due to the fast pace of life, people tends to forget things easily such as the placement of an item. As well as the elderlies whom having age-related memory loss. Hence, the objective of the project is to design and implement a personal inventory management application that runs on Android mobile devices. The application benefit users, especially elderly and dementia to manage belongings conveniently by add, edit or delete of an item. Users are required to login in order to start managing the items. When adding an item, user has to upload an image from gallery or taking a picture using the in-built camera and entering several fields such as name, category and location. Moreover, the application enables user to search for an item by text-based, Google voice typing or category. User is permitted to customize the name of location.
