However, they are becoming increasingly popular in recent years amongst RC hobby enthusiasts and university researchers due to their agility, maneuverability and Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) capability. This enables them to explore possible means on controlling and improve natural interaction with quadcopters which involves manual control using a joystick controller such as Playstation controller and gesture-based controllers such as Leap Motion controller. The minor challenges that one faced in regard to a quadcopter are its ability to stabilize and "Hover" in mid-air. Hence, this project aims to control the quadcopter using simple hand-gesture. With the increased application of gesture-controlled devices, a data glove is used as the primary controller to maneuver the quadcopter and explore its possibilities.
