description | With the ever increasing reliance on smartphone and how easily a user can load application onto their phone has made it even more important that users are aware of what they are installing into their phone before they do.
However, tools that are able to validate the validity of the application that they are trying to install are limited. Therefore, this project will design a web application for user to upload their Android Application Package (APK) for analysis.
In order to achieve the goal, huge amount of Android APK are needed for analysis. Crawlers will be developed to automatically surf the application store for Android APK and download it.
The web application would include tools that are develop by Dr Xue Yingxing and Mr Meng Guozhu and overall, the application objective is to create a simple platform for these tools to interact with the user. |
