description A report focusing on recording and evaluating soundscapes around the Nanyang Technological University Campus in Singapore. Quality of soundscapes are monitored to provide an assessment of the environmental factors which contribute to noise pollution and ambience in general. The various recording methods which can be used to attain these measurements are compared and tested against each other. Virtual reality prospects of 360 degree video and 3 dimensional audio are also discussed and examples utilizing both concepts are created.
