description | The film features 3 young national athletes from the national canoe sprint team, national synchronized swimming team and national gymnastics team respectively. The athletes, who have been experienced in the field, yet are currently still in school, have been working hard to find a balance between their sports career and study, in order to maintain and improve their performance in both areas.
We succeeded in extracting such information through interviews and through footage recorded from their trainings. I attempted a observational approach to the project with an empathetic tone. At the end of it, I think it’s essentially a visual treat for the eyes and a gentle touch on the heart.
We discovered that the athletes’ lives basically revolved around studies and their sports trainings, and lived their lives experiencing much failure before eventual success, which is a basic principle to achieve any kind of true success in our lives. |
