description This report presents the design and implementation of a three stage cascade boost converter with sliding mode controller with hysteresis as its control system. This report also presents the design and implementation of a two stage cascade boost converter with adaptive controller as its control system. It was then tested with different inductor currents to observe the efficiency and effectiveness with different inductor current. Experimental results of the following tests have been included in this report to present the capabilities of the converter with sliding mode controller.
