description National Instruments (NI) myRIO, which stands for reconfigurable Input/Output, is one of the latest tiny, convenient programmed hardware manufactured to create an edge of advantage technical use over other NI products such as Elvis board. Both myRIO and Elvis boards execute LABVIEW, which is known as visual language in term of schematic circuit diagram window to design and installed so as to enable the board installed for its functionality use. Then the user can carry out the research in engineering systems in term of both software and hardware. In term of physical feature, myRIO has one of the most of exciting and powerful elements combined with the storage and technical supporting abilities such as WIFI and Bluetooth. Without any difficulty, it can bring anywhere in connected with the processor and FPGA via using NI LABVIEW Software to implement many combined uses in an application. For this A3459-152 Final Year Project (FYP), NI myRIO was investigated to see the beneficial impact and how can it bring the difference to the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Year 2 Core Module-EE2073 [Introduction to EEE Design and Project]. There are two stages constructed and planned under Primary and Secondary line. In term of Primary line, two IC Chips are required to be replaced for the audio amplifiers. In this module, enhancement and chance are recommended and these are changing Voltage Controller Amplifier (VCA) SSM2018 as well as Power Amplifier (PA) LM380 which are going to be expiring and out of stock in the market. Both of the chips are inter-connected to the audio amplifiers. Instead of presenting the audio amplifier as part of end assessment for these Year 2 students, brainstorm ideas via discussed creative and innovative method is to include the use of LABVIEW in designing an escapes game and Quiz Competition in using LABVIEW software. The objective is to create leisure and interesting lab session in future EE2073 especially for student to appreciate and better version of how the LABVIEW visual programming used not only just MATLAB. As for the Secondary line in line with LABVIEW learning platform, one useful NI myRIO application is to be implemented of research-based and for investigation to differentiate any relationship between the traditional uses of Elvis board in EE2073 and whether myRIO is sub part of Elvis board or can this latest tiny board can replace over the typical board used in the lab.
