| Summary: | With the evolution of digital technology, organizations can easily access and collect different kinds of data to understand their products, services and customers. In today’s business transformation, data analytics have captured the attention of industry players and researchers in many sectors including supply chain management due to its valuable insights and competitive advantage. This project intends to explore the types of big data analytics solutions and applications in different supply chain functions with industrial examples. Current state-of-the-art analytics software and applications that implemented in the supply chain industry are researched together with the aim to address the potential future trends of supply chain analytics. In addition, the benefits and challenges of the implementation of supply chain analytics are highlighted in this paper. |
